A yearslong bitter legal battle between NBA star Dwyane Wade and his ex-wife is heating up again.

The Chicago Sun-Times (http://bit.ly/1aZN4RF ) reports that Siohvaughn Funches-Wade filed a lawsuit Tuesday alleging that Wade is violating the terms of an agreement that requires his endorsement deals be fully deposited into a joint account they both control.

Wade's attorney, James Pritikin, says the lawsuit has no merit and expects it to be dismissed. He says it mischaracterizes the court order concerning the joint account, but wouldn't elaborate.

The lawsuit is the latest chapter in a bitter custody and divorce battle that played out for years between Funches-Wade and Wade, a Chicago-area native who plays for the Miami Heat.

In 2011, Wade was awarded sole custody of his and Funches-Wade's two sons.
