Everton have signed Barcelona youngster Gerard Deulofeu on season-long loan, the club announced on Wednesday.
Deulofeu, 19, is regarded as one of the brightest young stars in the Catalans' academy program. He appeared in 32 matches last season for Barcelona's B side, scoring 18 goals.
"Gerard is a real diamond of Spanish football and a boy with incredible footballing talent and I am delighted that he has chosen to take the next step of his career with Everton," Toffees manager Roberto Martinez said.
His arrival at Goodison Park marks Martinez's fourth singing in three days after the club snapped up former Wigan players Arouna Kone and Antolin Alcaraz and Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Joel Robles, who was also at the DW Stadium last season.
