West Bromwich Albion announced Tuesday that the club has signed defender Goran Popov on another season-long loan deal from Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev.
The 28-year-old spent last season on loan at the Hawthorns, helping the Baggies finish eighth in the Premier League.
"It was always our intention to get Goran back over the summer," said West Bromwich manager Steve Clarke. "He knows what the club's about and we know what he's about. He's a good player and it makes sense to bring him back. He understands the Premier League better now as well and we will look for even more from him next season."
The deal, which is subject to international clearance, would make Popov West Brom's second signing of the summer following the arrival of striker Nicolas Anelka.
