The Washington Wizards signed 2013 draft picks, forward Otto Porter and guard Glen Rice, Jr., on Monday.
Porter was taken third overall by the Wizards, while Rice, who was drafted 35th overall by Philadelphia, was acquired for the 38th and 54th overall selections.
The 6-foot-8 Porter averaged 16.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.8 steals while shooting 49.8 percent from the floor and 42.2 percent from 3- point range as a sophomore at Georgetown last season. He was the Big East Player of the Year.
Rice played last season for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA Development League and averaged 13.0 points and 6.2 rebounds while shooting 49.1 percent from the floor.
