The Florida Panthers added to their roster on Friday, agreeing to terms on a two-year contract with forward Joey Crabb and signing defenseman Mike Mottau to a one-year, two-way contract.

Crabb picked up two goals and eight penalty minutes in 26 games for the Capitals last season, his fourth in the NHL.

In 170 games for Atlanta, Toronto and Washington, the 30-year-old Alaska native has totaled 20 goals and 32 assists.

Mottau did not play in the NHL at all in the 2012-13 season, but skated in 34 American Hockey League contests with San Antonio and Toronto and recording 14 assists. He split 2011-12 between the Islanders and Bruins, tallying a pair of helpers in 35 games.

A former Hobey Baker Award winner at Boston College in 2000, the 35-year-old Massachusetts native and seventh-round pick of the Rangers back in 1997 has logged 313 NHL games for five clubs, picking up seven goals and 58 points.
