The Montreal Canadiens added tough-guy winger George Parros from the Florida Panthers Friday in exchange for winger Philippe Lefebvre and Florida's seventh-round pick in 2014.

The 33-year-old Parros had a goal and an assist in 39 games in 2013. He also had 53 hits and 57 penalty minutes while averaging 6:36 of ice time.

In his eight-year career, Parros has 18 goals, 17 assists and 1,007 penalty minutes in 452 games with the Los Angeles Kings, Colorado Avalanche, Anaheim Ducks, and Florida.

Lefebvre played 23 games this season in the AHL for the Hamilton Bulldogs and had four goals and three assists.

Montreal acquired Florida's 2014 pick just five days ago at the 2013 draft.
