Montpellier announced Tuesday that the club has transferred Younes Belhanda to Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv.

Belhanda reportedly had interest from both Arsenal and Aston Villa of the Premier League but has opted to join the Ukrainian giants for an undisclosed fee.

"I am very happy to be a Dynamo player, I have signed a five-year contract with a club which is at the highest level and I want to win trophies here," the 25-year-old told Dynamo's official website.

Belhanda, who was born in France to Moroccan parents, has represented the African nation 21 times. He scored 26 league goals in 127 appearances for Montpellier.
