Winnipeg, MB – The Winnipeg Jets announced they have re- signed defenseman Grant Clitsome to a new contract on Tuesday.
Clitsome, 28, netted four goals with 12 assists in 44 games last season, his first full campaign in Winnipeg. He was scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent on Friday.
The 5-foot-11 Ontario native has played in 149 career games with Winnipeg and Columbus and totaled 13 goals, 55 points and 72 penalty minutes.
