Oklahoma City general manager Sam Presti thinks the team found the complementary pieces it was looking for, as well as long-term potential, in the NBA draft.

The Thunder added four players Thursday night, three with picks and another in a trade.

All four players are 6-foot-6 or taller, led by 7-foot Pittsburgh freshman Steven Adams — the 12th overall pick. Adams was joined by Colorado forward Andre Roberson, Arizona freshman Grant Jerrett and Spanish guard Alex Abrines.

Presti had initially hoped for a higher first-round pick when Oklahoma City traded James Harden to Houston last year. However, he felt as if the Thunder managed to find the perfect group to complement its core unit of Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka.
