Rockies activate Betancourt

Denver, CO – The Colorado Rockies activated pitcher Rafael Betancourt from the 15-day disabled list.

Betancourt went 2-3 with 15 saves and a 3.16 ERA in 28 games before landing on the DL with appendictis on July 20.

To make room for Betancourt, the Rockies optioned pitcher Manuel Corpas to Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Corpas went 1-2 with a 4.50 ERA in 19 apperances for Colorado.
