Phelps scratched, Sabathia to start Friday

Baltimore, MD – New York Yankees pitcher David Phelps was scratched from his scheduled start Friday against the Baltimore Orioles.

There was no immediate reason given.

CC Sabathia, was supposed to start on Saturday, will start Friday's game in place of Phelps.

Phelps is 5-4 with a 4.01 ERA in 16 games (10 starts) this season.
