The San Jose Sharks have agreed to a two- year contract with center Andrew Desjardins and a one-year deal with forward James Sheppard, general manager Doug Wilson announced Wednesday.

Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Desjardins appeared in 42 games for San Jose this past season, posting three points on two goals and an assist. The 26-year-old has appeared in 135 career regular-season games for the Sharks, registering 23 points on seven goals and 16 assists.

Sheppard had one goal and three assists in 32 games with San Jose last season. The Nova Scotia native also played in 34 games with Worcester in the American Hockey League in 2012-13, posting 23 points on eight goals and 15 assists.
