Steve Stricker and Bo Van Pelt combined for a 13-under-par 58 on Tuesday to cruise to a 4-stroke victory at the CVS Charity Classic.

The duo finished the 36-hole tournament at Rhode Island Country Club at 25- under-par 117.

Tournament co-host Billy Andrade and his playing partner Bill Haas shot a 10- under 61 during the second round to claim sole possession of second place at 21-under.

Defending champions Morgan Pressel and Jay Haas also combined to shoot 61 to finish in third at minus-19.

Stricker and Van Pelt entered the day with a 1-stroke advantage over Andrade and Bill Haas and the tandem of Bubba Watson and Rickie Fowler, who posted a 7-under 64 Tuesday to grab third place at 18-under, and the eventual winners quickly pulled away with birdies over their first six holes.

Stricker and Van Pelt recorded an eagle at the eighth to move to 8-under for the day, and then added gains at the 12th, 13th and 14th before another eagle at the 16th sealed the win.

Andrade and Bill Haas rolled in birdies at the first, fifth and sixth before a run of four straight birdies from the eighth pulled them within two strokes of Stricker and Van Pelt.

But they would get no closer and followed birdies at Nos. 13, 14 and an eagle at the 16th with a bogey at the 17th to finish four strokes off the pace.
