Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez underwent a procedure in his surgically repaired right foot.

The Nets said a screw in Lopez's foot had bent and needed to be replaced. He is expected to resume basketball activities in August.

Lopez missed seven games early this past season because of a sprain in the same foot. He played only five games during the shortened 2011-12 season because of a broken right foot.

In 74 games this season, the Stanford product averaged team highs of 19.4 points and 6.9 rebounds.
