The Denver Nuggets have almost as much talent on their roster as any team in the league, so the draft might not net them an immediate impact player.

That's not to say the Nuggets don't have needs.

First among them, is a head coach.

Denver released George Karl, the Coach of the Year last season, with one year left on his contract. It was reported the team was concerned about Karl's attitude in a lame-duck situation.

Karl isn't the only free agent looming.

Andre Iguodala is expected to opt out of his current deal and hit the free- agent market. It's hard to imagine Denver letting him go elsewhere, but bringing in help at the shooting guard couldn't hurt.

With the Nuggets picking 27th, the talent pool will be lessened, but there is some valuable twos at that spot.

An intriguing name to watch out for is Tim Hardaway, Jr., the son of former NBA All-Star Tim Hardaway. The Michigan product has good size and good shot- making ability.

Another interesting name is also the son of an NBA All-Star, Glen Rice, Jr. He toiled in the NBA D-League last season and just seems like a perfect George Karl/Denver Nuggets fit.

Danilo Gallinari tore his ACL in April, so a small-forward could be an option, especially if Iguodala bolts. Sergey Karasev of Russia, Giannis Antetokounmpo of Greece, Reggie Bullock of Karl's alma mater, North Carolina, or New Mexico's Tony Snell might be worthwhile choices.
