The Houston Astros placed outfielder Trevor Crowe on the 15-day disabled list following Thursday's 7-4 win in 10 innings over the Milwaukee Brewers.
Crowe suffered a sprain of the AC joint in his right shoulder while crashing into the right-field wall attempting to chase down a sixth-inning homer from Milwaukee's Jonathan Lucroy.
Initially deemed well enough to stay in the game, Crowe did depart the following inning and did not return.
To fill the roster spot, Houston recalled outfielder Marc Krauss from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
