The U.S. Women's National Team captured its second consecutive gold medal at the 2013 Pan American Cup, held June 10-16 in Lima, Peru. Team USA lived up to its world No. 1 ranking after defeating Dominican Republic, 25-12, 25-20, 25-18, in the final match to cap its impressive showing with a 5-0 record. Nicole Fawcett (Zanesfield, Ohio) accumulated 15 points in the gold-medal match to earn the tournament's most valuable player award.

MCFADDEN, PRINCE SHINE AT PARALYMPIC TRACK & FIELD NATIONALS

Tatyana McFadden (Clarksville, Md.) won all six of her events at the 2013 U.S. Paralympics Track & Field National Championships, held June 14-16 in San Antonio. McFadden emerged victorious in the women's 100 meters (T54), 200(T54), 400 (T54), 800 (T54), 1,500 (T53/54) and 5,000 (T53/54). On the men's side, David Prince (Sarasota, Fla.) dominated the field by setting a new world record in the 200 (T44) and topping his previous world record in the 400 (T44) with times of 22.47 and 49.87.

ARCHERY

Carli Cochran (Harrisburg, Pa.), Erika Jones (Grand Island, Neb.) and Jamie Van Natta (Toledo, Ohio) clinched silver in the women's team compound event at the 2013 Archery World Cup, held June 10-16 in Antalya, Turkey. On the men's side, Braden Gellenthien (Woodbrige, Va.), Reo Wilde (Pocatello, Idaho) and Rodger Willet Jr. (Gloucester, Va.) also earned silver in the team compound event.

CYCLING

Arielle Martin (East Spanaway, Wash.) secured second place in the elite women's final in 39.932 at the 2013 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup, held June 15-16 in Papendal, Netherlands. Alise Post (Saint Cloud, Minn.) rode to a second-place finish in the elite women's superfinal time trial in 37.937. In the men's competition, Connor Fields (Henderson, Nev.) claimed his second consecutive world cup superfinal time trial in 38.06.

Lea Davison (Jericho, Vt.) captured eighth place in the elite women's race with a time of 1:39:51 at the 2013 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, held June 15-16 in Val di Sole, Italy. Mary McConneloug (Fairfax, Calif.) finished 20th in 1:45:23, while Georgia Gould (Ketchum, Idaho) rounded out the top-25 U.S. finishers in 1:46:32 to claim 22nd place.

Allison Jones (Colorado Springs, Colo.) won gold in the women's road race (C2) in 1:06:34 at the 2013 Para-cycling Road World Cup, held June 14-16 in Segovia, Spain. The U.S. continued its gold-medal haul with wins from Jamie Whitmore Cardenas (Mount Aukum, Calif.) in the women's road race (C3) and Monica Bascio (Evergreen, Colo.) in the women's road race (H3). On the men's side, William Groulx (Portland, Ore.) secured bronze in the road race (H1) with a time of 1:10:42.

EQUESTRIAN

The U.S. Stripes Team cruised to a second-place finish at the 2013 FEI Nations Cup at the CSIO5* Spruce Meadows, held June 13-16 in Calgary, Alberta. Aboard Nougat Du Vallet, Katie Dinan's (Wellington, Fla.) flawless effort sparked the jumping team of Brianne Goutal (New York, N.Y.), Candice King (Wellington, Fla.) and McLain Ward (Brewster, N.Y.), which completed its two rounds with nine faults. The U.S. Stars Team placed fourth to elevate Team USA atop the North American, Central America and Caribbean League standings and qualify for the FEI Nations Cup Jumping Season Series Final.

Marilyn Little (Frederick, Md.) and RF Demeter clinched seventh place at the 2013 Luhmuhlen CCI4*/CIC3*, held June 13-16. The pair finished the eventing course with 57.50 points on four total faults.

FENCING

Lee Kiefer (Lexington, K.Y.) claimed her fourth consecutive Pan American title after defeating Nzingha Prescod (Brooklyn, N.Y.), 15-14, in the women's foil event at the 2013 Pan American Zonal Championships, held June 16-21 in Cartagena, Columbia. Margaret Lu (Greenwich, Conn.) garnered bronze with a 15-10 victory over Columbia's Saskia Loretta Van Ervin Garcia to complete a U.S. sweep of the podium. On the men's end, Soren Thompson (New York, N.Y.) clinched eighth place in the men's epee competition with a 2-1 overtime win over Venezuela's Francisco Limardo. Looking to advance, Thompson lost to Cuba's Ringo Quintero Alvarez, 15-14, in the quarterfinals.

JUDO

Olympic bronze medalist Marti Malloy (Oak Harbor, Wash.) earned gold in the 57 kg. division at the 2013 Grand Prix Miami, held June 15-16. Malloy defeated Hungary's Hedvig Karakas to cap her 4-0 record. Meanwhile, Colton Brown (Piscatoway, N.J.) garnered bronze in the men's 90 kg. division after defeating Ciril Grossklaus of Switzerland.

MODERN PENTATHLON

Margaux Isaksen (Fayetteville, Ark.) earned a seventh-place finish with a total score of 5,104 points at the 2013 Kremlin Cup, held June 15-16 in Moscow. Competing in her first Kremlin Cup, younger sibling Isabella Isaksen (Fayetteville, Ark.) placed 17th with 4,788 points.

SAILING

Jennifer Wilson (Chicago, Ill.) and her team of Sally Barkow (Nashotah, Wis.), Katherine Pettibone (Sacramento, Calif.), Krista Paxton (Royal Oak, Mich.) and Sandi Svoboda (Grosse Point Park, Mich.) claimed the 2012 U.S. Women's Match Racing Championship, held June 13-16 in Chicago. The team defeated Stephanie Roble's boat, 3-1, en route to victory.

SHOOTING

Janessa Beaman (Elbert, Colo.) finished 13th in the women's trap event at the 2013 ISSF Shotgun World Cup, held June 10-16 in Nicosia, Cyprus. In the women's skeet event, Jaiden Grinnell (Port Angeles, Wash.) finished 19th with 67 hits. On the men's end, Ian Rupert (Muncy, Pa.) placed 23rd after scoring a 127 in the men's double trap competition.

SOCCER

The U.S. Women's National Team earned a convincing 4-1 international friendly victory against Korea Republic, held June 15 in Foxborough, Mass. The U.S. started the match with two early goals from Kristie Mewis (Hanson, Mass.) and Lauren Cheney (Indianapolis, Ind.). Heading into the second half with a 2-1 lead, Carli Lloyd (Delran, N.J.) restored Team USA's two-goal advantage in the 57th minute, while Abby Wambach (Rochester, N.Y.) notched her 156th career international goal to seal the win. Wambach's goal puts her two goals shy of tying Mia Hamm on the world's all-time scoring list.

The U.S. Men's National Team defeated Panama, 2-0, at the 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifier, held June 11 in Seattle. Jozy Altidore (Boca Raton, Fla.) notched a goal in his third straight match, while Eddie Johnson (Palm Coast, Fla.) provided Team USA its final goal in the 53rd minute. The U.S. currently sits atop the Hexagonal standings and will continue world cup qualifying play against Honduras on June 18.

TRACK & FIELD

Dalilah Muhammad (Bayside, N.Y.) finished third in the women's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.03 at the 2013 Diamond League Bislett Games, held June 13 in Oslo, Norway.

VOLLEYBALL

The U.S. Men's National Team defeated France in a tightly contested five sets, 22-25, 25-22, 24-26, 30-28, 15-9, at the 2013 FIVB World League, held June 15 in Tulsa, Okla. Paul Lotman (Lakewood, Calif.) was named Player of the Match after posting 18 kills and three blocks.

Jake Gibb (Bountiful, Utah) and Casey Patterson (Van Nuys, Calif.) advanced to the third round after sweeping Brazil's Ricardo Alex Costa and Alvaro Morais Filho, 21-16, 21-15, at the FIVB Grand Slam, held June 11-16 in The Hague, Netherlands. The duo lost to Pedro Salgado and Bruno Schmidt, 21-18, 21-10, in the third round.

WATER POLO

The U.S. Men's National Team finished fourth at the FINA Men's World League Super Final, held June 11-16 in Chelyabinsk, Russia. After advancing to the semifinals with a 13-11 shootout victory against China, the U.S. lost to Montenegro, 13-11, in a shootout for the bronze medal.
