The Minnesota Timberwolves are working out another group of draft prospects.

Their guests on Monday afternoon included a player that president of basketball operations Flip Saunders is quite familiar with: former Gophers standout Trevor Mbakwe (im-BAHK'-way).

Saunders watched Mbakwe play often last season at Williams Arena, where the team's new boss once starred himself. Mbakwe has been widely projected as a pick in the second round, where the Wolves have two selections.

Others being evaluated by team officials on Monday included Reggie Bullock of North Carolina, Tony Snell of New Mexico, Deshaun Thomas of Ohio State, Carrick Felix of Arizona State and Jason Washburn of Utah.

The NBA draft takes place on June 27.
