The San Diego Padres announced on Friday that the club has reinstated pitcher Huston Street from the 15-day disabled list and optioned pitcher Tommy Layne and outfielder Jaff Decker to Triple-A Tucson.

Street was placed on the disabled list on June 1, retroactive to May 30, with a strained left calf muscle. Over 21 outings for the Padres this season, the veteran hurler compiled an 0-3 record with 11 saves and a 4.43 earned run average.

The left-handed Layne was originally recalled from Tucson for his second stint with the team on June 1 and went 0-1 with a 1.59 ERA in six games this season. Decker, meanwhile, was recalled on Wednesday for his first trip to the majors, but failed to appear in a game.

Earlier Friday, San Diego acquired infielder Pedro Ciriaco from the Boston Red Sox and activated him for tonight's opener of a three-game series versus Arizona.
