Boston Bruins forward Nathan Horton practiced on Friday and appears to be on track to play in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals on Saturday night against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Bruins coach Claude Julien is still calling Horton day to day, but he says it was encouraging to see him at practice and if he feels good on Saturday he will be in the lineup.
Horton left with an unspecified upper body injury while Boston was on a power play during the first overtime of Chicago's 4-3 victory in Game 1 on Wednesday night. Horton skates with David Krejci and Milan Lucic on a line that really hurt the Blackhawks in the series opener.
