Fullback Le'Ron McClain likes how fast the Chargers do their work under rookie head coach Mike McCoy.

McClain said McCoy has brought a noticeable tempo to practices, one that the players seem to enjoy. The Chargers finished their mandatory minicamp on Thursday and McClain says he thinks the offense is looking pretty good. The players are off until training camp starts in late July.

The Chargers are coming off a third straight season of missing the playoffs. They've reshuffled their offensive line after quarterback Philip Rivers was sacked 49 times last year and committed 22 turnovers. Additionally, running back Ryan Mathews had a fumbling problem.

McCoy says the Chargers are doing certain drills to work on cutting down the number of turnovers.
