Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger says his right knee is great and he could practice next week if he needed to.

Roethlisberger underwent minor surgery last week to address some lingering discomfort in the knee. He expects to be 100 percent when training camp opens in late July.

When Roethlisberger does return, he'll be working with a new-look offense of sorts. Offensive coordinator Todd Haley approached Roethlisberger and several other players during the offseason asking them for input heading into his second year. Haley says the difference between this spring and last spring is "night and day."

The Steelers finished 21st in total offense 2012 and 22nd in points scored. Haley says those numbers need to be higher for Pittsburgh to return to the playoffs.
