The Indianapolis Colts have agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent Ahmad Bradshaw.

The former New York Giants star and unrestricted free agent visited the Colts last week and the deal was announced Tuesday. Terms were not disclosed.

The 27-year-old Bradshaw gives the Colts depth in the backfield and he could challenge Donald Brown,Vick Ballard and Delone Carter for the starting role.

In seven seasons with the Giants, Bradshaw played in 84 of 96 games, starting 33 and rushed for 4,232 yards and 32 touchdowns. Last season, Bradshaw ran for 1,015 yards on 221 carries, 4.6 yard average, and six touchdowns. After missing four games with injuries in 2012, the Giants parted ways with Bradshaw in February.
