LeBron James has a simple answer to explain why he is not trying to take 25 or 30 shots per game in these playoffs.

He says, "I've done more and lost before."

Often criticized for making what he and the Miami Heat consider the best basketball play, James spoke Saturday about why he passes more than he shoots, and how some people might expect the best player in the game to go about business differently.

James took 16 shots in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, and the league's four-time MVP finished with a triple-double in Miami's 92-88 loss to the San Antonio Spurs. The series resumes Sunday night in Miami, before shifting to San Antonio for Game 3 on Tuesday night.
