Davone Bess is the oldest wide receiver on the Cleveland Browns, but he isn't showing his age at minicamp.

Bess, 27, has been the most consistent pass catcher throughout the three-day camp. He was acquired from the Miami Dolphins in an April 26 trade to bolster Cleveland's inexperienced receiving corps.

Greg Little and Josh Gordon are the Browns' top wideouts, but Bess is seeing plenty of time in three-receiver sets while lining up in the slot.

Cleveland also signed former Bills wide receiver David Nelson as it collects talent for the up-tempo scheme being implemented by new coach Rob Chudzinski and offensive coordinator Norv Turner.
