SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The San Francisco 49ers have signed safety Raymond Ventrone to a two-year contract.
The 49ers waived fullback Jason Schepler on Monday to make room in the roster.
Ventrone has played in 73 career games with the New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns since entering the league as an undrafted free agent out of Villanova. He has 50 career tackles and 39 special teams stops.
