CUP: Friday Dover Notebook (UPDATE 1)

WALLACE BREAKS THROUGH – Darrell Wallace Jr. scored his first Camping World Truck Series pole Friday for Friday afternoon's Lucas Oil 200 at Dover International Speedway. Wallace, 19, became the youngest pole winner in Truck history. Following in the top five were Chase Elliott, Jeb Burton, Ryan Blaney and Kyle Busch.

MONSTER MILE TRIPLEHEADER — It’s a monster weekend at Dover International Speedway, where all three of NASCAR’s top divisions will be on track this weekend.

Heading into this week’s action at the Monster Mile, Jimmie Johnson leads the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points, with Regan Smith atop the NASCAR Nationwide Series standings and Matt Crafton tops in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
