CUP: Saturday Charlotte Notebook

[SATURDAY 7:17 am ET]

BACK ON TRACK — There was no on-track activity at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday, but the action heats up in earnest today. There are two rounds of NASCAR Sprint Cup practice at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. ET, both of which will be televised live on SPEED.

The History 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. from CMS. Kyle Busch already has five victories in eight Nationwide starts so far this year and has not finished worse than third in any of the last seven races in that series.

At noon today, NASCAR Chairman and CEO Brian France is scheduled to meet with the media for a question-and-answer session.
