The Cincinnati Bengals agreed to terms with running back and second-round draft choice Giovani Bernard on Thursday.

The Bengals used the 37th overall selection in the 2013 NFL Draft to take Bernard out of North Carolina, where he scored 31 touchdowns and totaled 2,481 rushing yards over two seasons. He also accumulated 852 yards as a receiver during his time at school.

"Giovani is a dynamic guy, both running the football and catching it," said Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis. "And he was one of North Carolina's hardest- working guys on the team, so he fits the mold of guys we like -- not only good, but extremely hard-working."

Cincinnati has agreed to terms with eight of its 10 draft picks. Only first- round selection Tyler Eifert and third-round pick Shawn Williams remain unsigned.
