The Chicago Cubs placed veteran reliever Shawn Camp on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained right big toe prior to Wednesday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The move came one day after Camp served up a go-ahead three-run homer to the Pirates' Travis Snider in the sixth inning of Tuesday's 5-4 loss to Pittsburgh.

Camp has struggled all throughout this season, having surrendered 14 runs and 26 hits -- including four homers -- in just 16 2/3 innings spanning 20 appearances.

To fill the roster spot, the Cubs recalled fellow right-hander Rafael Dolis from Triple-A Iowa.

Dolis posted a 1-0 record with a 5.40 ERA and one save over 12 games with the I-Cubs this season. The 25-year-old pitched in 34 contests for Chicago last year and went 2-4 with four saves and a 6.39 ERA.
