Juventus failed to mark its Scudetto with a win in its final match of the season as it fell 3-2 at Sampdoria on Saturday.
The Old Lady grabbed the lead thanks to Fabio Quagliarella's strike in the 25th minute, but Citadin Eder converted a penalty kick six minutes later to send the two sides into the halftime interval level at a goal apiece.
The second half belonged to Sampdoria as Lorenzo De Silvestri gave the home side the lead in the 57th minute before Mauro Icardi notched a third 15 minutes from time.
Icardi's strike proved to be pivotal as Emanuele Giaccherini netted a late consolation goal for Juventus, which finishes the Serie A season atop the table on 87 points.
Sampdoria ends the campaign on 42 points, a welcomed return that keeps the side in Italy's top flight for next season.
