The Arizona Cardinals are bringing back linebacker Karlos Dansby, signing the veteran to a one-year contract on Friday.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but after spending his last three seasons with the Miami Dolphins, Dansby will return to the team that selected him in the second round of 2004 NFL Draft.

Dansby, 31, left Arizona in 2010 when he signed a five-year deal as a free agent with Miami, but was released this past March despite leading the Dolphins with a career-high 133 tackles.

The Auburn product missed only two games during his stint with the Dolphins and has appeared in 136 career games, with 127 starts. He has recorded 955 tackles, 31 1/2 sacks, 11 interceptions and 16 forced fumbles over the course of a nine-year career.
