Los Angeles Lakers forward Antawn Jamison underwent successful surgery on his injured right wrist, the team announced Tuesday.

Jamison was diagnosed with a ruptured scapholunate ligament after hurting his wrist during a game against the Washington Wizards on March 22. He was able to play through the injury.

In 76 games (six starts) this season with the Lakers, Jamison averaged 9.4 points and 4.8 rebounds. He posted five double-doubles and scored in double- figures 35 times.

Jamison is expected to make a full recovery by the start of next season.
