Phoenix, AZ – The Arizona Diamondbacks activated outfielder Jason Kubel from the 15-day disabled list on Sunday.
Kubel was placed on the DL on April 13 with a strained left quadriceps, which he suffered on April 5 against the Brewers.
The 32-year-old is batting .333 with two home runs and six RBI in eight games this season.
In addition, the Diamondbacks have placed infielder Didi Gregorius on the 7- day disabled list.
Gregorius, 23, suffered a contusion after being hit in the head by a pitch from Josh Outman during Friday's 6-3 loss to the Rockies.
Gregorius, who was acquired this offseason from the Cincinnati Reds in a three-team trade, has hit safely in all seven games this season and has gone 11-for-27 with two home runs.
