WALTHAM, Mass. – The Boston Celtics' quest for an 18th championship looks as if it will have to wait.
They are facing a 3-0 deficit in their first-round series against the New York Knicks, and no NBA team has overcome that.
So the Celtics are thinking much smaller than another title when they host Game 4 on Sunday.
Coach Doc Rivers says on Saturday that: "You've got to focus on the single game. You can't win four without winning one."
Even that looks tough for a Boston team that has been completely dominated. The Knicks want the sweep, which would put them in the second round for the first time since 2000.
If Boston wins, Game 5 would be Wednesday in New York.
