San Antonio Spurs center Tiago Splitter will be out indefinitely after suffering a sprained left ankle in Friday's Game 3 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Splitter was injured on the Spurs' final offensive possession of the third quarter after getting tangled up with Lakers guard Darius Morris near the basket. He hobbled to the locker room and did not return to the game.

Splitter has been ruled out for Game 4 and a timetable for his return has not yet been established.

San Antonio holds a 3-0 lead in the series.
