The Oakland Raiders have taken tight end Nick Kasa with the first of their four sixth-round picks.

The Raiders took Kasa on Saturday with the 172nd overall pick in the draft. Oakland also has the 176th, 181st and 205th pick later in this round.

The Raiders lost starting tight end Brandon Myers in free agency and have only David Ausberry and Richard Gordon as experienced players at the position. Kasa had 25 catches for 391 yards and three touchdowns last season for Colorado.

The Raiders added the 181st pick when they traded down nine spots in the fourth round before taking quarterback Tyler Wilson. Oakland also has one seventh-rounder.
