The Jacksonville Jaguars added yet another defensive back in the NFL draft, selecting Appalachian State cornerback Demetrius McCray with their second pick in the seventh round.

The Jaguars used the 210th overall pick to get McCray.

The 6-foot-1 McCray is the fifth defensive back selected by the Jaguars in the three-day draft, joining second-round safety Johnathan Cyprien, third-round cornerback Dwayne Gratz, sixth-round safety Josh Evans and seventh-round cornerback Jeremy Harris.

Jacksonville is trying to replace most of its secondary from last season. The team parted ways with its top four cornerbacks — Derek Cox, Rashean Mathis, Aaron Ross and Will Middleton — as well as strong safety Dawan Landry. The only returning starter is Dwight Lowery.
