Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles Dodgers placed pitcher Stephen Fife on the 15-day disabled list and recalled pitcher Matt Magill from Triple-A Albuquerque.
Fife (right shoulder bursitis) started last Sunday's game against the Orioles. He allowed four runs on seven hits over 4 2/3 innings while taking a no- decision.
Magill will make his MLB debut Saturday versus Milwaukee. The right-hander posted a 2.84 ERA with 23 strikeouts over 19.0 innings in four starts for the Isotopes this season.
