Bjoern Werner couldn't wait to get to the NFL.

Now he can't believe he's soon going to start hearing Colts coach Chuck Pagano bellowing out instructions.

Indianapolis' first-round draft pick arrived in town Friday afternoon, met with Pagano and much of the Colts' brain trust and then spent about 30 minutes explaining everything from the correct pronunciation of his name, to how he fell in love with American football in Germany, to how eager he is to meet Robert Mathis and replace Dwight Freeney after playing them on his Madden NFL game.

For Werner, this is not just a big payday or another opportunity.

This is what he's been dreaming about from the moment he first started tossing a small football around with a classmate at age 12.
