Connecticut guard Shabazz Napier is returning to school for his senior season in 2013-14.

This past season, Napier led the Huskies in scoring at 17.1 points per game while being named to the All-Big East first team. UConn finished with a 20-10 record, but was ineligible for postseason play because of low academic standards.

"After many days of figuring out what decision was best for my family and me, I have decided to remain at UConn for my senior year," Napier said. "I am very much looking forward to getting closer to receiving my college degree, as well as becoming a stronger leader for my teammates on and off the court."

Napier currently ranks 31st on UConn's all-time career scoring list with 1,239 points and 11th on the all-time assist list with 451.

Sophomore guard Ryan Boatright and sophomore forward DeAndre Daniels have informed the coaching staff that they are planning to remain in school as well.
