Carolina Hurricanes forward Alexander Semin will miss the final two games of the season due to a concussion.
The 29-year-old veteran tallied 13 goals and 31 assists in 44 games this season, his first in Carolina after signing a one-year deal as a free agent last summer. The former Capitals star inked a five-year contract extension last month.
In addition, the Hurricanes recalled forward Tim Wallace from their American Hockey League affiliate in Charlotte. Wallace recorded a goal and an assist in 26 games for the Hurricanes earlier this season.
