Dominican righty Wily Peralta tries to keep the momentum going for the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday when they host the Chicago Cubs in the finale of a three-game series at Miller Park.

The Brewers won their sixth consecutive game on Saturday, when Jonathan Lucroy hit a solo homer and scored twice and Martin Maldonado added a pair of hits and drove in a run in a 5-1 win.

Logan Schafer and Blake Lalli also drove in one run apiece for the Brewers.

Hiram Burgos (1-0) was solid in his major league debut, allowing one run on five hits over five frames.

"He had good command like he usually has with his fastball. He threw some nice curveballs, his change-up was low and away with some good sink on it. He looked really good and came out throwing strikes," Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said.

Alfonso Soriano drove in the lone run for the Cubs, losers in five of their last six.

Edwin Jackson (0-3) was tagged for five runs -- one earned -- on four hits over six innings to absorb the loss.

Peralta, who'll turn 24 in May, faced the Cubs for the first time in his brief big-league career on April 9 at Wrigley Field.

In that game, a 6-3 Chicago win, Peralta got a no-decision after allowing two earned runs in 6 2/3 innings, walking two and striking out five.

He's pitched once since and was touched for six runs in four innings while again getting a no-decision in Milwaukee's 10-8 win over San Francisco.

In nine career appearances spanning parts of two seasons - including eight starts - he's allowed 21 runs in 43 hits in 45 innings while splitting four decisions.

For the Cubs, righty Scott Feldman faces the Brewers for the second time in his career while seeking his first win in a Milwaukee uniform.

The 6-foot-7 Hawaii native won 39 games through his initial 204 appearances in the majors with the Texas Rangers before signing a one-year, $6 million deal with the Cubs on Nov. 27.

He's failed to last five innings in either of two starts with Chicago, instead losing to Atlanta and San Francisco after lasting just 4 2/3 innings and 4 1/3 innings, respectively.

In the nine overall innings, he's been tagged for 12 hits and 10 runs while walking seven and striking out four.

The teams split two games on April 8-9 in Chicago. Milwaukee won 13 of 17 games between the teams last season.
