Swiss driver Neel Jani took the pole position Friday for the American Le Mans Series' race Saturday with a lap at 1:12.600 in Rebellion Racing's No. 12 Lola-Toyota coupe.

The P2 class pole went to IndyCar veteran Ryan Briscoe in the No. 551 Level 5 Motorsports HPD ARX-03b at 1:16.014. Briscoe started from the pole in the IndyCar race last year. Champ Car and IndyCar veteran Bruno Junqueira took the Prototype Challenge class pole with a lap of 1:16.167.
