Louisville is a winner again, only this time the outcome isn't close.
The Nielsen company said Louisville's gripping victory over Michigan in the NCAA men's basketball championship last week was seen by 23.4 million people. It was easily the most-watched program on prime-time television last week, beating its closest competition by more than six million viewers.
The game drew more viewers than the NCAA championships during each of the past two years, which both had around 20 million viewers.
It was a week for competitions. Only two scripted series finished among Nielsen's top 10 last week and they were related — "NCIS" and its spinoff "NCIS: Los Angeles.
