Knicks sign Quentin Richardson

The New York Knicks have signed veteran swingman Quentin Richardson for the remainder of the season.

Richardson last played in the NBA during the 2011-12 season with Orlando and averaged 4.5 points with 2.6 rebounds in 48 games. He spent four seasons with the Knicks, averaging 9.7 points and 5.0 rebounds in 241 games from 2005-09.

The well-traveled Chicago native owns career averages of 10.3 points with 4.7 rebounds in 782 games, including 486 starts, over 12 seasons with the Clippers, Suns, Knicks, Heat and Magic.
