Arturo Vidal guided Juventus to its fifth straight Serie A win on Monday as the Chilean midfielder's brace gave the Old Lady a 2-0 victory over Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico.

The visitors were in front after just eight minutes following Lorik Cana's poor sliding challenge on Mirko Vucinic in the penalty area. Cana was issued a yellow card and Vidal converted the ensuing attempt to hand Juve the lead.

Vidal made it two in the 28th minute by capitalizing on some more slack defending from the Lazio defense. A failed clearance bounced to the center of the penalty area, allowing Vidal to pounce and slip a shot past Federico Marchetti with the outside of his right foot.

Juventus, which has conceded just 20 goals in its 32 league games so far this season, closed out the match with the clean sheet in tact, its fourth from its last seven Serie A contests.

The Bianconeri improve to 74 points on the season, extending their lead atop the table to 11 points following Napoli's draw with AC Milan on Sunday.

Lazio, stuck on 51 points, has dropped six of its last 10 Serie A matches.
