Michigan's Burke to announce plans Sunday

Michigan sophomore guard Trey Burke will announce his future plans at a news conference Sunday, but a report indicates that the consensus national player of the year will be turning pro.

Yahoo! Sports on Saturday cited sources as saying Burke has decided to give up his final two years of collegiate eligibility to enter the NBA Draft.

Burke won the Naismith, Wooden and Robertson awards as college basketball's top player for the 2012-13 season.

Also selected as the Big Ten Player of the Year, the 6-foot Burke averaged 18.6 points and 6.7 assists in 39 games. He scored 24 points on Monday in Michigan's 82-76 loss to Louisville in the national championship game.
