Texas ideal spot for Biffle to get season boost; Johnson-Keselowski arrive 1-2 again

FORT WORTH, Texas – Greg Biffle always looks forward to racing in Texas.

It is an ideal spot for Biffle to get a do-over on a 1½-mile track in NASCAR's new Sprint Cup car. Biffle is the defending champion of the Texas spring race Saturday night.

Biffle struggled to a 17th-place finish last month at Las Vegas, the only 1 1/2-mile track the Sprint Cup Series went the first six races this season.

The 25th Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway will be the first night race this season.

Last November, Jimmie Johnson held off Brad Keselowski in a 1-2 white-knuckle finish that kept Johnson ahead in points with two races left in the season though Keselowski went on to win the championship.

Johnson is the current points leader. Keselowski is second.
