The Cleveland Indians made multiple roster moves after learning of pitcher Carlos Carrasco's eight-game suspension on Friday.

The team recalled pitcher Nick Hagadone from Triple-A Columbus, placed pitcher Matt Albers on the paternity leave list, activated designated hitter Jason Giambi from the 15-day disabled list and optioned pitcher Corey Kluber to Columbus.

Hagadone went 1-0 with a 6.39 ERA in 27 relief appearances for the Indians last season.

Giambi, who was on the DL with a lower back strain, will be making his Indians debut after signing with the club on Feb. 9. He hit .225 with one homer and eight RBI in 60 games for the Rockies last season.
